Warm Weather Shipping

We want you to get your bars in the best condition possible, so here is how we handle shipping during the warmer months.

If you live in a hot climate or your area is experiencing a heat wave, we recommend checking the weather before ordering. Waiting for cooler temperatures can help ensure your chocolate arrives in the best condition.

How We Ship in Warm Weather

We take extra steps to protect your order:

• Insulated packaging to help slow down heat exposure
• Shipping early in the week when possible to avoid weekend delays

These steps give your chocolate the best chance of arriving in great shape, but they are not foolproof.

Tips for the Best Experience

Warm weather shipping works best when you plan ahead. Here are a few ways to improve your chances of a perfect delivery:

Avoid extreme heat windows and consider waiting for a cooler stretch if possible
Ship to an address where someone can receive it right away
Track your package closely so it is not left outside or in direct sun
Bring your package inside as soon as it is delivered

A little timing goes a long way when it comes to chocolate.

The Honest Part

Even with insulation, we cannot fully control what happens once your package leaves our hands.

Hot delivery trucks, long transit routes, and packages sitting in the sun can all lead to melting, especially during peak summer temperatures.

Because of this, we cannot guarantee that chocolate will arrive unmelted during warm weather.

We are not able to offer refunds or replacements for melted chocolate.

What Happens If It Melts

If your chocolate softens or melts:

• It is still completely safe to eat
• Flavor and quality remain the same
• Appearance may change and you may notice streaking or bloom

Tip: Let your chocolate sit at room temperature to firm back up before opening.
