Our newest limited edition dark chocolate bar featuring a locally made Chai blend!

How we made it …

We met the folks from Cloud Nine Farm (Wilsall, MT) being vendors at the Bozeman Winter Farmers Market. We were immediately inspired by their Spicy Chai beverage that they serve up hot on cold market days. Being the chocolate makers that we are we thought, “How do we make this into a chocolate bar?“

After a lot of trial and error and bad flavor combinations, we included a little bit of rose to the chai dark chocolate and we knew that was it—the floral notes added just the right amount of the softness to the spice.

The final result was a bar that was dark & cozy AND pink & sparkly. It makes a perfect Mother’s Day present or a treat for yourself.

Pair it with …

• Wine: Look for a Primitivo with soft spice or a Brachetto d’Aqui with soft sweetness

• Beer: Look for a fruited sour with a backbone of warm baking spices. We love it with Mountains Walking’s Peach Cobbler Sour
